Justification - Being Made Right With God

2Ti 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Justification is a work of Jesus Christ.

Justification is the result of forgiveness and is the word used to describe the nature of our relationship with God.  In short, we are made perfectly right with God. To be justified means to be 100% right with God and 100% accepted by Him. Justifications means to occupy a place of favor; reconciled, adopted, and at peace with God.

To be justified means no longer to stand in the presence of God guilty, but fully accepted. It means to be forgiven, restored, renewed, and made right. At my very best I'm not good enough to be perfectly right, 100% right with God. But this is the value of FORGIVENESS, it RESULTS in justification. Justification means you have been forgiven and are MADE 100% RIGHT, fully accepted by God. This cannot be over emphasized. Jesus is the One who justifies those who believe on Him as Savior and Lord. His finished work of redemption makes them perfectly right with God. The Scripture states that we are justified through the redemption that is in Christ. Another way to say this is that we are made perfectly right with God, through the shed blood of Christ.

Romans 3:21-24 21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Justification is not the result of works.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

God Makes Us Right With Him

The value of the gospel is that it makes us perfectly right with God. Forgiveness is real. Because forgiveness is real, we are justified, and have peace with God. When we believe on Christ and accept His atonement for us, God forgives us all our sins, and we then have peace with God. Having peace with God means we are no longer under His wrath or judgment, but through forgiveness, are brought into perfect fellowship with Him.

Romans 5:1 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Justification is a gift that we receive by faith.

Thank you, Lord Jesus.

Phil 3:3-9 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. 4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
